Introduced in September 2005, iPod nano by Apple is the still most coveted gadget for the music buff. Available in super slim models and cool colors, iPod nano comes with incredible storage capacity and battery life. Its ease of use and affordable prices makes it a dream gadget for those who want to stay hooked to music all time.

Incredible capacity
Apple iPod nano was initially launched with a capacity of 2 GB and 4 GB. The 2 GB version holds about 500 songs and the 4 GB version can hold upto 1000 songs. Later, Apple also introduced low-price 1 GB model, which had the capacity to hold upto 240 songs. On well loved demand, Apple launched the 8GB iPod nano at the price of its 4 GB model. The 8 GB model could hold a whopping 2000 songs and thousands of photos!

Ultra slim design

The USP of iPod nano is its ultra slim look. It is so small and thin that it can easily fit in your pocket along with other paraphernalia. iPod nano is about 3.5 inches long, 1.5 inches wide and about 6.9 mm thick. The second generation iPod nano has become even slimmer. Its thickness has been reduced to 6.5 mm. The bright and vibrant LCD screen of iPod nano is 176×132 pixels, 1.5 inches diagonal and can show 16-bit color.

Colorful looks
iPod nano comes in trendy colors making them a well loved and fashionable gadget amongst youth. While the 2 GB model is available in silver only, the 4 GB comes in attractive green, blue, silver, or pink. The 8 GB model was initially available in black only but hot red model was added later on.

Long battery life

Highly advanced in technology, iPod nano comes with a stated battery life of 14 hours. The second generation iPod nano has an upgraded battery life. It claims to groove you with a battery life of 24 hours!!

iPod nano features the same 30-pin dock connector as the iPod and iPod mini, allowing it to work effortlessly with over 1,000 accessories developed for iPod, including home stereo speakers and iPod car adapters, thus keeping you connected to your favorite music while at home or on the go.
